I'm a guy with medium length hair that I use a straightening iron on. Can I put in a clay produ

My morning routine is generally to shower, and put clay or paste into towel dried hair (ie. before it's dry enough for straightening). Is it okay to straighten afterwards, with the product in the hair?

Yeah it's fine, but your hair might get a bit stiff. Try a product like Thermasilk that's made specially for exposure to high heat. I know it probably smells kinda girly, but your hair will look better for it and you can always spray some of your cologne around your head to mask it.

No, it will melt all over your iron and it will basically get fried into your hair. Try using it AFTER you straighten it.
