Have a look at the link below,this is the one I use and I love it.It's cheap enough and lasts a good while.Just don't over spray it as it will leave your hair greasy .You will know if you have over sprayed as you will see steam rising from your hair.Best to spray it and let it dry for a couple of minutes.

Anything with ceramic plates...It is proven to protect the hair from heat damage, I use it on my hair and it is completely dyed, since you only have highlights it would be perfectly fine

Motions has a very good thermal heat protector spray and it smells really good. There is also one by biosilk, but there is definitely one in almost every line of products. DO NOT use oil sheen spray. Good luck and God bless!

I prefer to use a serum type protector;
attitude's "no more frizz" or fudge's "erekt" are both brill.
make sure you rub in hands first to 'heat it up'. apply from root to tips. Use a very small amount as it can be quite greasy.
you can get a thermal spray to use which has more of a hold to it but i find it can leave hair a little hard.

i straighten my hair every other day, i always give a good condition and i use what is called flat iron spray by wella it leaves your hair feeling soft shiny and looks fantastic. to get this product you would have to go Sally's or Adele's , or find a salon that uses wella products and they will go into more detail with you . i think its one of the best out there. hope you find something for you good luck
