while hair is wet, use a blow dryer brush and brush and brush until hair is dry. i always use mousse or something to protect hair from to much damage. Thermasilk is good for this.

Firstly--get someone to help you because if you want to do it right, it's a 2 person job. Wash hair and put a straightning balm in while still wet(about a dime to quarter size depending on length). Try to sqeeze as much water out of the hair as you can before applying product. Run product thru the entire length of hair. Seperate hair into 4 sections using clips. Blowdry each section using a nozzle (if you have one) Keep the airflow pointed downward. This will help keep the cuticle of the hair smooth. Get each section COMPLETELY dry. Then go over each section with a flat iron. Dont iron in any one place too long because you will burn your hair. Keep the iron moving constantly. When finished, smooth hair with your hands or wide tooth comb. You can also get this service done in the salon. Just call and ask for a blow dry and flat iron. Its about 20-30 dollars and lasts for a few days.
