Does Japanese Straightening damage hair if you get it done cheaper..say $200,Queens,NYC..not proper

Is that why it costs more say about $600 in the reputed ones? because they use reliable hair strengthing products?

Could anyone tell me if we are compromising on quality by lower price? It may look a great job when we walk out ...but in the long run???

Do you mean it is done by Japanese hairdressers? If you are then...

NOOOO WAYYYY!

I had a dodge Asian job done on my hair for cheap and only now after THREE YEARS is my hair starting to recover! Seriously it's not worth it! Your hair may be straight but the damage is sooooo serious!

For God's sake don't make my mistake! Please :S

Japanese Straightening is the same whether or not it is cheap. In fact, I had mine done for a lot cheaper than that and it is fine. However, if you're worried about damaging hair ,straightening your hair through any kind of straightening, including Japanese Straightening, will definitely damage your hair. However, as long as you condition it and use moisturizing hair products it should be fine for the first year. Depending on your hair texture, if you continue doing it a lot, you will run the risk of seriously damaging your hair. See how how well your hair is functioning after the first year and if it looks like its healthy enough then you're probably doing a good job caring for it and can straighten it again without too much damage.
