How do you tame fly away hair after straightening it with a hot iron?

I have used a anti -poof shampoo and conditioner, but I didn't use anything before I used the hot iron.

Use a flat-iron protector spray. Big Sexy Hair makes a good one called Shine and Seal, and Alberto V05 makes a good one too called MIracle Mist. It's in a red bottle. If you spray those on before you flat iron, you won't have as many flyaways. Also, when you're done ironing, spray a light mist of hairspray on and smooth it down!

You should use an anti frizz and/or leave in conditioner serum BEFORE using your hot iron to protect your hair from the heat.

Then afterwards, use a little of the straightening serum again to tame those fly aways. Just rub a little in your hands and pat the top of your hair lightly.

John Frieda make GREAT straightening products! The instructions are on the back :o)
