I would use a heat protection spray and a leave in conditioner. You can get them at any drugstore.

Aveda Brilliant Damge Control Spray before flat ironing. Works wonders.

try tresseme heat protectant for straight hair when straightening.

then try john freda thermal protection serum when you blwo dry.
