Very soon I will be going off to college and won't be able to afford relaxers every other month. So, how can I get the same relaxer look without having to use one? Please keep in mind that I want the same look and feel without the use of any damaging chemicals.

Hot comb, blow dryer. Those are the only 2 ways I know of other than a relaxer. Why don't you do them yourself? It's really easy. Just part your hair into 4 sections, base it with grease or vasoline, and touch up the roots. If you're wondering about doing the back sections, just get a mirror and position it on your wall or door across from the one above your sink and then you'll be able to see. Hey, that's what I do and it works out fine until I can afford to get it done professionally again. Just buy a relaxer that would fit your hair type.

You are not really suppose to relax your hair that offen. You can press relax hair.

use a maxiglide. its a flat iron but it makes it look like a perm. it doesnt burn your scalp. it works for all hair types.

Maybe hot oil treatment or press the hair with a hot comb. It depends if your hair is short, long, medium, straight, curly, thick, and etc. You can search the web to find out.
