Why would you do that in the first place. Gel is knda like water but in a jelly form but with hold. Gel can make your hair wet like which defeats the purpose of straightening your hair. I suggest you use some sort of serum that smoothes the hair i place rather than using a gel that can make it hard and stiff..

No, it's not bad. Shine Serum or gloss drops work much, much better than gel, though.

yes. ive been there done that and if ur a natural curly hair person and straigthten ur hair and then put hair gel, it will make ur hair frizzy if u go outside

it's really not good to put gel in your hair when it's dry.
i did after straightening one day and it wouldn't come out for like a week.

Gel is formulated to be used on wet hair. Once it's straightened, the only thing you want to put on it is a shine serum. Use the styling products BEFORE you style.

You'd be better to use a product that's specially formulated for keeping hair smooth. Speaking for myself, gel would make my hair curl back up.

no...i out it on top of my hair at the top of my head so i dont get those frizzies around my part...i also brush a little though it and it keeps all the hair in place and not as crazy and all over the place...i have done this for 2 years and i know this works ( on me at least)
